Not a 5k, not a 10k, not a half marathon, not even a full marathon - he did 50 miles!

Filed under: — Little Sister @ 4:25 pm

This is a little late in coming! (I had to relearn how to download and upload pictures from our new camera) Shaun finished his first 50 mile race on March 22nd, in Decatur, Texas. I am so proud of you and in awe that you would even make this a goal. Congratulations!

My brother the Ironman

Even with a post-bike-accident broken collarbone and groin injury, my little brother is doing the Wisconsin Ironman today. As of this posting, he had finished the 2.4 mile swim and was starting on 112 mile bike ride. And at the end of that comes the 26.2 mile run! Yikes… with his injury he’s having trouble running but he say’s he’ll finish even if he has to walk all the way!

UPDATE:
Steven “Schreiber” from Wyandotte, Michigan …
YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!

From Michigan to California,
we watched you cross the finish line!
(thanks to the marvels of live internet feed)
CONGRATULATIONS STEVE!
