Animals
Animals seem to come to us in direct proportion to the amount of space available. Traveling in a VW Van there were cats. In town we had cats, bunnies and birds. On the mountain it's been cats, bunnies, cockatiels, homing pigeons, ducks, chickens, dogs, horses and llamas! In general, we believe in wildness; desiring that wild animals be left alone, to live free and unhindered when possible. But the rewards of living closely with animals are great, and many animals are domesticated and need homes. Quite a few have landed in our care, allowing us to live with them and love them.
